This is a private tour designed specifically for the Ridgeview High School Marching Band.  Your Adventure Starts Here!

    Tour Itinerary

Saturday, March 12, 2016: Fly to Ireland – Depart Orlando International Airport around 8:50 p.m. The entire group will fly Aer Lingus, Ireland’s national air carrier, on a direct and regularly scheduled flight to Dublin arriving the next morning around 9:50 a.m.

Sunday, March 13: To the West Coast - Leaving Dublin Airport, we will travel cross-country directly to Galway City.  Upon arrival, enjoy a free afternoon for sightseeing, shopping, and taking in the street music in the traffic-free cobbled streets.  Enjoy a group dinner tonight and a chance to get out to hear some traditional music.  Sleep 1 night in Galway.

Monday, March 14: County Clare & the Kingdom of Kerry - Today, travel through the rugged “moonscape-like” Burren region of County Clare and make a stop
at the most photographed spot
in Ireland. The rugged “Cliffs of
Moher” drop more than 700 feet
into the sea below, all surrounded by rolling green hills and the vast North Atlantic.  Crossing the River Shannon by ferry, enjoy the scenic beauty of County Kerry, Tralee Bay, and the Dingle Peninsula. After settling into your hotel, experience charming Dingle town and a group dinner.  Sleep 2 nights in Dingle.

Tuesday, March 15: The Dingle Peninsula - Experience some of Ireland’s wildest natural beauty and oldest pre-historic settlements on our driving tour of the Slea Head. Enjoy endless fields of “40 shades of green”, rock-crashing waves and all the sheep you’ll ever want to count. Back in Dingle, you’ll have the afternoon and evening for shopping, dinner, and traditional music on your own.

Wednesday, March 16: The Gift of Gab - Today we will travel to the little village of Blarney. The castle, known for its famous “Blarney Stone,” is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland. After an opportunity to “kiss the Blarney Stone,” enjoy a visit to Blarney Woolen Mills. This huge shopping complex is your one-stop spot for authentic Irish arts, crafts, textiles, and apparel.  Later, arrive in Cork City for dinner.  Sleep 2 nights in Cork.

Thursday, March 17: St. Patrick's Day Festivities - Much of the day will be filled with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade for the Marching Band and Color Guard. After a full day of music performance and festivities, enjoy a final few hours celebrating with the Irish. Later, we will return to the hotel for a St. Paddy’s Day group dinner.

Friday, March 18: Cashel and Dublin – Traveling back up to Dublin, we will make a stop at the Rock of Cashel.  The huge hunk of rock is famous as an ancient monastic settlement and the site where Patrick first spread the gospel of Christ to the ancient Celtic tribes.   Arrive later this afternoon in Dublin for a look around the city center and one final dinner together.  Sleep 1 night near Dublin Airport

Saturday, March 19: Heading Home – Enjoy your final Irish Breakfast and pack your bags. Your tour ends today with a mid-morning departure from Dublin arriving in Orlando around 8:00 p.m.
