David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe – Tour Expo Give-a-way
Entry – By entering this free drawing, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. The decisions of David McGuffin and David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe (the Sponsor) shall be final and not subject to appeal.
Eligibility – No purchase necessary to enter. The drawing is open to permanent legal U.S. residents who reside in the United States at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Current or former employees of David McGuffins Exploring Europe, its subsidiaries, and the immediate family members or persons living in the same household (whether related or not) of all the foregoing are not eligible to participate or win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
Participants are eligible to win a David McGuffin Exploring Europe contest or drawing only once (1) every seven (7) years. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest or drawing.
Entry – The entry period for this drawing begins on May 11, 2025, at 6:00:01 a.m. EDT and ends on July 24, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. EDT.
To enter the contest drawing, visit https://davidmcguffin.com/tour-expo-2025/ and register for up to eight (8) live-streaming Tour Expo events. Registration is required via the Zoom platform and confirmed via return email, noting registration to attend the live-stream event. Entrants must include their first and last names, email address, phone number, complete address, and zip code to enter.
Entrants must watch, view, and participate in at least 80% of the specific Tour Expo live-streaming event they register for.
Incomplete entries will not be considered. Only one (1) entry per person, per live streaming event is allowed. This means one (1) person may register and participate in all eight (8) live-streaming events and be eligible for a total of eight (8) entries. David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe is not responsible for technical or computer, telephone service outages, delays, equipment malfunctions, busy signals, hang-ups, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or late, lost, failed, illegible, incomplete, garbled or deleted entries, transmissions, or voicemails or other network or technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing their telephone call or online entry, or for printing errors in any advertisement, entry form, or the rules.
Entrants may use only one email address to submit entries during the registration and drawing. If an entrant uses multiple email addresses to submit more than one entry, the entrant will be disqualified. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any automated or computer-generated entries, fake or duplicate identities, spam, or improper techniques (as determined by the Sponsor) will be disqualified. Any questions regarding the validity, completeness, or number of entries submitted by an individual or the identity of the authorized account holder of an email address, phone number, or social media profile are the sole responsibility of the Sponsor, and at its sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who acts in a disruptive, harassing, vulgar, or unsportsmanlike manner, as determined by the Sponsor in their sole discretion.
Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Sponsor determines, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual tampering with the contest drawing (electronic or otherwise) or if technical difficulties (e.g. infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor) compromise the security, fairness, integrity or administration of the contest drawing, the Sponsor reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the contest drawing and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the contest drawing is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties before its expiration date, notice will be posted online at https://davidmcguffin.com. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the operation of the contest drawing or website or violates the Official Rules of the contest drawing. Entries not conforming to announced entry specifications will not be acknowledged or returned.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
By entering this free drawing, participants agree to David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe Terms of Use at https://davidmcguffin.com/privacy-and-copyright-info/ and the Privacy Policy located at https://davidmcguffin.com/privacy-and-copyright-info/. All entry information becomes the property of the Sponsor, and entrants grant the Sponsor the right to use the information for their marketing. David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe will not share or sell any information collected during registration. By entering, entrants grant the Sponsor the right to broadcast and distribute their name, image, likeness, voice, entry materials, and biographical information in any media whatsoever, for any purpose whatsoever, worldwide, in perpetuity, without any further authorization from or compensation to the entrant. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject and disqualify any submissions that do not meet the terms and conditions of these contest drawing rules.
Odds of Winning – Registration is limited to 500 viewers per episode. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The Prize – There will be one (1) winner in this contest drawing. After the Tour Expo live streaming event on July 24, the Winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. The Winner will be announced at the live streaming event and informed that they won by email, text, phone, or all three. The Winner will receive two free seats on a published and scheduled David McGuffin Tuscany Villa Vacation in 2026. Winners will share a double room. The Winner and the guest are responsible for getting to and from Florence, Italy (the tour’s starting and ending point) on their own. The approximate retail value of the Winner’s prize is $8,000. Entrants can win only once.
The Winner of this random drawing will be contacted as mentioned above and must reply within 48 hours to maintain eligibility. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within this period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such potential Winner will be disqualified, their entry will be declared null and void, and the Sponsor reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to choose another potential winner by the process referred to above.
All results are unofficial until the Sponsor verifies the Winner. Prizes may not be exchanged, substituted, transferred, or redeemed for other prizes by the Winner. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute for the Tuscany Vacation package. Any difference between the actual value and the stated ARV will not be granted. The Villa Vacation prize is “as is,” with no guarantees. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize in their sole discretion without any announcement, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
Conditions for Acceptance of the Prize – The Winner must claim the prize via email or phone to David McGuffin’s Exploring Europe (david@davidmcguffin.com 800-570-1351). The Winner must claim the prize and complete all required paperwork and ID submissions by July 30, 2025, or the entire prize package will be forfeited. Failure of the Winner to fulfill these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the entire prize package. Winners must provide a valid government-issued photo identification card and execute an eligibility, publicity, and liability release affidavit before receiving their prize. The Sponsor may require the Winner’s guests, invitees, or travel companions to sign liability releases before receiving the prize. All unclaimed or rejected prizes will be forfeited. Failure by the Winner to respond to the Sponsor’s messages, calls, emails, or other notifications will lead to the prize’s forfeiture. Failure to fill out and sign all waivers, releases, or forms will result in forfeiture of the prize. The Sponsor then has the right, at its discretion, to award that prize to another winner using the method described above. A winner who forfeits any prize is not eligible to win another contest or drawing conducted by the Sponsor for seven (7) years. Once all the above actions are completed, the travel voucher certificate will be delivered to the Winner.
Payment of all federal, state, and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the Winner (s), and the Winner (s) will receive an IRS 1099 Form or equivalent from the Sponsor. The Sponsor will report any individual winnings over $600 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner(s) is/are required to fill out any tax forms requested by the Sponsor to receive their prize.
The Winner and Guest are responsible for providing proper citizenship documentation to travel, which may include passports, a valid alien registration card, and/or necessary visas. The Winner and Guests are responsible for checking with their travel agent, government agencies, embassies, or consulates before their vacation to ensure that they have proper citizenship documentation. Failure to comply with these travel requirements may result in the Winner or guest being ineligible to use all parts of the prize. By accepting the prize, the Winner agrees, on behalf of each guest of the Winner’s party, to abide by the health and safety measures in effect for the tour period, as well as at any accommodation, venue, or aboard any transportation that is a part of the vacation package.
Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any license and registration fees, accommodations, transportation costs, gratuities, and all other items of an incidental nature. All expenses on receipt and use of prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the Winner, the Sponsor is not responsible for any weather changes, pandemic, epidemic, or extenuating circumstances relating to a prize received. The Sponsor is not responsible for replacing or reimbursing winners with compensation for delayed or canceled events. All delays and cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Sponsor. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations, trip schedule changes, pandemic, stay at home orders, flight cancellations, travel arrangements, travel delays of any form and duration, train/bus cancellations and delays, and all acts of nature. The Sponsor is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the Winner due to such delays or cancellations. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failure to supply the prize because of any force majeure events, such as acts of God, war, terrorist attacks, pandemic, stay-at-home order, unusually severe weather, labor strikes, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor.
By accepting the prize, the Winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, likeness, biographical information, and entry materials used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest drawing, and in any media whatsoever, for any purpose whatsoever, worldwide, in perpetuity, without any further authorization or compensation to the winner(s).
Social Media and online Platforms- For contests promoted on Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Zoom, Teams, or any other social media or Platform website (each a “Social Media Site or Platform” and collectively the “Social Media Sites and Platforms”), the Sponsor reserve the right to void any entrant’s entry in the drawing for failure to abide by the guidelines, policies, or procedures of the applicable Social Media Site or Platform, and to delete or remove any of entrant’s related “Likes,” comments, posts, tweets, videos, photos, user generated content, or other electronic messages, communications, or submissions at their discretion. The Sponsor also reserve the right to block, ignore, report, and/or completely prevent any entrant, account, user, or profile from accessing the drawing and/or the Sponsor’s profile(s), account(s), website(s), blog(s) or handle(s). This drawing is not sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with the Social Media Sites or Platform. By entering this drawing, entrants agree to release and hold the Social Media Sites or Platforms harmless from any or all claims, liability, damages, judgments, fines, costs, expenses related to or associated with their participation in this free drawing. Entrants understand that by logging in to the applicable Social Media Site or Platform, they agree to comply with the Social Media Site’s and Platform’s Terms of Service, and that their personal information is subject to the Privacy Policies and information collection practices of the Social Media Site and Platform. Entrants agree that the Sponsor is not responsible for collecting, disclosing, transferring, or disseminating their personal information, whether directly or indirectly, by third-party advertisers, marketers, or any other transferees. For entries submitted through the Social Media Sites and Platforms, the Sponsor may be limited to using the information in a manner set forth by the Social Media Sites or Platforms and in no other way.
Limitation on Liability – The Sponsor disclaims all liabilities to the Winner (s) concerning receipt and use of the prize. Winners and their guests or travel companions, by acceptance of their prize, agree to release and hold the Sponsor and its/their affiliated companies, their advertising, promotion and production agencies, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any and all liability, claims, causes of actions, damages, fines, and costs of any kind whatsoever (including reasonable attorney’s fees) which may be sustained directly or indirectly to persons or property in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any drawing or prize-related activity.
Reservation of Rights – The Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at their sole discretion, which will become effective upon announcement. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or terminate this drawing for any reason if it cannot be carried out or administered as intended by the Sponsor. Any such changes or termination will be announced on the davidmcguffin.com website.
