Christmas Markets of Eastern Europe

Our Christmas markets tour to Germany and Austria has been a hit. So, in 2020, we’ll be adding a new Christmas markets tour visiting five Eastern European countries. You’ll have a chance to explore Christmas markets, sample local holiday cuisine, and best of all, traveling on the off-season means that you’ll be free to visit all the great cultural sights without having to jostle with other tourists. Here are just a few of the adventures awaiting you on our newest tour:

• Explore the historic old town of four European capitals: Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Prague
• Take a scenic cruise on the Danube in Budapest
• Visit the Hofburg Palace, the Imperial Apartments and the Royal Treasury in Vienna
• Tour the largest European castle complex in Prague
• End your tour with a visit to Germany’s most famous Christmas market in Nuremberg

And with plenty of free time built into our tour, you’ll have a chance to explore the sights you’re most interested in seeing. As always, our guides will be happy to help you plan your activities. You could:

• Take a dip in a traditional public bath in Budapest
• Attend a concert in Vienna
